Connie Isabell, M.A.

Deputy Superintendent of School Improvement

Isabell was named Deputy Superintendent of School Improvement in September 2017. She most recently served as chief academic officer for Lancaster ISD and as a consultant and STEM coach for Educate Texas. She previously worked as director of instructional services in Gilmer ISD and was a middle school and high school principal in Longview ISD. She served as a high school teacher in Tyler ISD before beginning her career as a campus administrator in that district.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in History from Stephen F. Austin (SFA) State University. Isabell also obtained her mid-management certificate from SFA.

As deputy superintendent of school improvement in Crowley ISD, Isabell will oversee school leadership and student support services.
