Each meeting will include a short orientation for parents and students, computers available for students to fill out the Active Apply application, and students will attend the Texas Success Initiative Pre-Assessment Activity.
We will also be offering Texas Success Initiative testing opportunities on April 2, 10, and 14 from 4:30-8:00 p.m. at the BRJ CTE Center. To be eligible to test, a student must first complete the Pre-Assessment Activity offered during orientation at the Dual Credit Parent & Student Meetings listed above.

Beginning in October, all Crowley ISD students entering 7th-12th grade in the 2013-14 school year will be able to check out an iPad mini, a charger and a military-grade case.

Blue ribbons were awarded for Project Visualize, Chapter Yearbook and Created Teaching Materials. Red Ribbons were awarded for Bulletin Board. Gold Certificates were awarded for Professional Teaching Portfolios.
Energy Education Day received a 4th Place award which qualifies this group of students for Nationals in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Crowley TAFE also received the Outstanding TAFE Chapter Award for the third year in a row.
TAFE students who competed at State are Kelsey Southerland, Stephanie Roselle and Sandra Perez. These 3 students will be advancing to Nationals. Also, Joy Nelson, Adelle Benson, Essence Price, Nina Sesay, Nicole Santangelo, Carlie May, Paige Bohannon, and Dina Zatar competed at State level for the first time receiving top honors. The students are led by Bobette Vroon, the Education and Training teacher at the Bill R. Johnson CTE Center.
The Heartbeat Team Award is sponsored in part by Crowley ISD community partners EECU and Inspire Salon/Spa. Ms. Duran received a $50 Visa gift card, courtesy of EECU, and a $50 spa gift card, courtesy of Inspire Salon/Spa.
The surveys were conducted online to help the district better understand the components that lead to satisfaction, engagement, and commitment across key stakeholder groups.
The purpose of this initiative is to gather constructive feedback in order to continue to develop and improve the climate and culture withing Crowley ISD's schools.
