• Global Prep Academy serves 7th-12th grade students in Crowley ISD. The program blends the flexibility of online virtual learning with in-person peer-to-peer and student-to-teacher interaction. Enrollment is open to all students. You do not have to live in Crowley ISD school boundaries to attend and there is no tuition.


    Application Procedure for the 2021-21 School Year
    The application window opened Tuesday, February 2, 2021 and closes at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2021. Below is the 2021-2022 enrollment information and requirements to apply. This information is for any new student wanting to participate in Global Prep Academy in Crowley ISD.

    Global Prep Application and Acceptance Protocol
    Step 1: Apply online between February 2-March 5.

    Step 2:     After your application is received, our team will contact you to schedule an interview with Global Prep Academy faculty/staff/administrators via Zoom. The parent and student must be present. The interview will consist of the following: 

    • An overview of the program by a member of the committee
    • Interview questions from the committee panel (scored by a rubric)
    • A handwritten essay by the student (scored by a rubric)

    Step 3: Mandatory attendance of Global Prep Academy parent meeting. Meeting information will be distributed at a later date. Parent/Guardians of students interested in Global Prep Academy must attend a parent meeting as part of the requirements.

    Step 4:     Acceptance or denial into program based on interview criteria met.

    Enrollment Information and Requirements to Apply

    • Enrollment is open to any student residing inside or outside the Crowley ISD district boundaries.
    • There is no tuition or fees to attend Global Prep Academy.

    Confirmation of Interview / Waitlist Status

    • Parents/guardians will receive an email stating that their student has been selected for an interview via Zoom, or that their student will be placed on the waitlist, no later than March 8, 2021. Email confirmation of interview DOES NOT guarantee acceptance into the program.
    • Students will begin interviewing February 10, 2021–March 12, 2021 and will be informed no later than March 26, 2021 whether or not they have been accepted into the program for the 2021-2022 school year.
