Jerry Allen, M.Ed.

Executive Director of Technology and Information Resources

Jerry Allen is the direct oversight for Technology, Instructional Technology, PEIMS, Textbooks and Library Services departments that supports more than 15,000 students and 1,500 employees in the district. He been a part of the Crowley ISD family since 2004.

After graduating from Sam Houston State University with a business administration degree, he spent the first 14 years of his working career in the corporate world. With a passion for developing people and training, Allen started his educational career in Crowley ISD as a 7th Grade math teacher at H.F. Stevens Middle School in 2004.

Three years after moving into the classroom, Allen received a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2007 and began his campus administrator career, serving as an assistant principal at Jackie Carden Elementary, Sue Crouch Intermediate and North Crowley High School. In 2010, Allen was named Director of Technology for Crowley ISD.

“Having been an educator at each level has helped to shape my career as an educational technologist,” Allen said. “The skill sets that I have learned from those experiences has proven invaluable to me at the district administration level. The respect I have for our campuses has forged my core values for support and I know that without the campus administration, faculty, and students - there is no reason for our existence at the district level.”

Allen is happily married to Stefani Allen, principal of North Crowley High School. The proud Panther parents have three children, all of which have or will graduate from NCHS.
