Voluntary Transfer Annual Window – March 10 to May 12, 2017
A Voluntary Transfer Request must be submitted in Eduphoria between March 10 and May 12, 2017. By submitting a transfer request during this time, the employee will be considered eligible for openings that become available in the spring. Employees on the transfer list before the deadline remain eligible for transfer between campuses until June 1, 2017.
    Employee Voluntary Transfer Procedure
A voluntary transfer is defined as a request for a lateral move (i.e. movement between the same/similar job titles and pay grades) or a move from a higher pay grade to a lower pay grade at another site or campus. Notify your campus principal if you would like to remain at your current campus but request an assignment to another grade level or subject area.
Exceptions to the transfer request procedure are permitted only for promotion by title, salary increase, instructional stipend increase, or by increase in number of contract days.
    Voluntary Transfer Guidelines
Employees who are interested in the possibility of transferring to another school within the district for the upcoming year should review these guidelines carefully.
The Voluntary Transfer Request allows an employee to be considered for openings. Requesting a transfer does not guarantee that a change in assignment will occur.
    Employees requesting a transfer must:
    1. Complete a Voluntary Transfer Request in Eduphoria FormSpace.
    2. Complete an internal application on the Crowley ISD online application system and apply for any transfer pool for which they are interested.
All principals/hiring managers will have access to all voluntary transfer pools and may review or interview any applicants for current open or potential future open positions. Employees who request transfers are given consideration but are not guaranteed an interview. If selected for an interview, the principal/hiring manager will contact the employee directly. The campus principal/hiring manager must check the qualifications for the transfer as related to certification with the Human Resources department before making the transfer recommendation.
    Principal Notification
The Human Resources department will prepare a master list of transfer requests for campus principals during the transfer request period. The list will be updated weekly during the transfer window. Each week principals will review the transfer list to determine eligibility for transfer for all employees currently assigned to their campus.
